A Technician must be able to diagnose and repair Volkswagen automotive systems such as engine, transmission, electrical, chassis, HVAC, e-mobility, etc. to Volkswagen and dealership standards. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Prior experience as a Technician or ASE Certifications preferred.
Service Xpress Technician:
Technician must be capable of performing light maintenance work, such as changing oil, tires, replacing batteries, and other work as assigned in accordance with dealer and Service Xpress standards. Has future potential to continue training leading to a rewarding career as a Volkswagen Technician. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Provide customers and Technicians with requested parts and/or accessories in a timely manner. In addition, must recommend any related parts to preform service work, check part availability, place special orders, receive and maintain parts inventory with DMS, follow-up on part orders, perform cashier responsibilities, and any other duties as determined by the Parts Manager.
Responsible for initiating and scheduling service and repairs by gathering information on vehicle performance concerns and service requests, verify warranty and/or service contract coverage, create estimates, write repair orders, and maintain customer records. The Service Consultant is the liaison between the customer and Technician; ensuring that customer needs are understood by the Technician and the needed and recommended service or repairs are understood by the customer.
